Hi everyone, thanks for your replies. Mrs Woman the anthem is very appropiate for us RA folks. Sleeping's not too bad, have a nap in the afternoon most days, about 30 mins. Wake up a couple of times in the night but always manage to get back to sleep.
Done the podiatrist too, had inner soles for my shoes and shown the type of shoes to wear. Hot bath and ice are fine if I'm staying in but the effect doesn't last very long. The steriod injections in my toes are painful, even though the Doc freeze sprays them first. Next appointment for that's 29th December, no dancing round the tree but should be able to hop into 2010 nicely.
